Greetings eBoot Campers!

From time to time, I find awesome free resources on the Web that I
just have to share them with my readers.

If you are hoping to improve your Website’s search engine ranking,
you may need to tweak your homepage content from time to time.
Google and the other search engines look for words repeated within
the text of your homepage. The more times a word is repeated, the
more weight the search engines give it. You don’t have to worry
about filler content (like a, and, the, or, to, etc.) because they
don’t count those when evaluating your homepage. They are looking
for words that describe your Website and/or your business. So if you
owned a shoe store in Seattle, Washington, you might want words like
seattle, shoes, and washington to be sprinkled throughout your site.

If you want to evaluate your own homepage content to see which
words are most frequent on your page, you can go to
http://marketing.networksolutions.com/web-promotion-tools.php and type your Website address in the Keyword Density Analyzer. See if the words that describe your site are up at the top of the list. If they are not, consider editing your homepage content and adding
more descriptive words about your business to the content of your
homepage.

I hope this helps! Keep up the good work and keep climbing the
search engine ladder!

Best Wishes,

Corey
