We are a small and nimble company. Our team members wear many hats and closely support each other. We’re completely virtual, which allows us to work from home and offer a positive work/life balance. We are looking for someone to work 15-20 hours/week, and be available during normal business hours.

As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will be  a thought leader, creator, and manager for multiple clients each month. Clients will range from a Marketing Director at a large company to an owner of a small business, spanning multiple industries including real estate, healthcare, and professional development. You will help build and grow your client’s digital footprint. You’ll gain your client’s trust and confidence and influence their awareness of the digital marketing world.

 

Responsibilities
Daily tasks include social media strategy, content creation & implementation, account management & consulting, and reporting.

  • Social Media Marketing
    • Create graphics and copy
    • Strategize around social media posts for engagement and brand awareness
  • Facebook Ads
    • Strategize based on client budget and goals
      • Typical client budgets are $100-500/month
      • Able to select appropriate ad objectives and forecast results
    • Create graphics and sales copy
    • Track budget, metrics, and comments on a daily basis (Monday-Friday)
  • Graphic Design
    • Use any program you’d like to create social media posts and other graphics:
      • Canva, Photoshop or more advanced programs
  • Writing + Copywriting
    • Able to write intriguing sales copy for Facebook ads
      • Filter through client notes/websites to put complicated concepts and copy into layman’s terms
    • Write simple blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing copy, as needed
  • Organization: as the Account Manager for several clients, organization is important
    • Ensure that items from calls are completed, even if they aren’t assigned to you – from the client and from the team
    • Keep track of items for weekly/monthly client updates
    • Timesheet/To Do List: Keep track of your tasks on a daily basis so items aren’t missed
  • Consulting + Client-Facing Work
    • You’ll be speaking with clients frequently, via emails, texts, and monthly calls
    • Monthly calls follow an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) that needs to be completed ahead of time, to ensure we use our time productively and address items from past calls
    • Ability to anticipate questions/needs of clients ahead of calls, so we can make the best use of our time and move their results forward
    • Ability to communicate in a friendly, confident way
    • Able to provide answers and strategy to clients on calls and via email
    • Able to come up with solutions and strategies to improve results, as needed
  • Analytics
    • Basic understanding and ability to read analytics from social media, Facebook ads, and Google Analytics

 

Experience/proficiency in the following:

  • Social Media: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter
  • Email: MailChimp and/or Constant Contact
  • WordPress
  • Graphic Design: Any program you’d like to use to create posts and graphics
  • Toggl: Used daily for billing and tracking time
