Are you proud of your profiles?
Our agency, Impact Social has had some really cool clients over the years. One of my personal favorites was a group of motorcycle dealerships across the Midwest.
I took my team to one of the dealerships and, as we toured the showroom, it took our collective breath away.
Each motorcycle was more impressive than the next – quality and craftsmanship unmatched by anything we’d ever seen. After our tour, we gathered in their boardroom to discuss us taking over their digital marketing.
I watched as my team’s excitement turned to DISBELIEF as we took a look at their social media profiles.
We scrolled through blurry photos, inconsistent fonts, dated logos, and a hodgepodge of colors that had nothing to do with their brand.
The team could clearly see how UNDERWHELMED we were at the state of their digital profiles.
“You have your work cut out for you!” one of the owners said.
We went to work on establishing CONSISTENT fonts, colors, and other design elements for the dealerships.
Their sales manager sent us hundreds of professional photos that were recently taken of their new inventory. And, with a little nudging, we encouraged them to hire a professional videographer to do a virtual tour of the dealerships.
We now had the necessary elements to redesign their profiles to match the beautiful motorcycles they so proudly displayed in their showroom.
For the first time ever, there was no disconnect between the ONLINE and OFFLINE world.
No matter where a prospect stumbled upon them, the team could be proud of their first impression.
Now let me ask you . . .
What if I Googled you, stumbled upon your website, or visited your social media profiles? Would these impress me, or would I find a DISCONNECT between your offline and online brand?
I’d love to hear experiences, insights, and thoughts over on my LinkedIn page. I will meet you there!
🤓 A Success Story is featured in every chapter of my new book, ‘Authentically Social’. These stories are about an organization, business, or individual that put one of my Authentically Social principles into action, and saw tangible results. Let’s hear it for the Midwest motorcycle team!
