COREY PERLMAN

CEO

As the owner of Impact Social Media, Corey Perlman has been at the forefront of digital marketing for over ten years! He started his career with the eCommerce Division of General Motors before launching his speaking and consulting business in 2009. Since then, he’s worked with notable brands like Sysco Foods, The American Healthcare Association, Dale Carnegie Training, and The PGA Tour

He is a speaker, consultant, and nationally recognized social media expert. His first book, eBoot Camp!, ranked #1 on Amazon.com in every major business category. His most recent book, Social Media Overload! has been called engaging, relevant, a must-read, and spot-on marketing advice for any business.

Corey crosses the globe speaking to companies and associations on how to generate real results from their social media marketing initiatives. His company, Impact Social Media, employs a team of highly skilled digital marketing strategists who manage social media accounts for over 40 businesses.

When not working, this proclaimed certified propeller-head enjoys long walks with his wife through the aisles of Best Buy and loves taking his two young children on summer vacations to Silicon Valley.

Jessica has been with the Impact Social team since its start in 2009. Corey and Jessica met on an internship in college with General Motors and the rest is history. Jessica graduated from the University of Evansville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Business Administration. She has worked in the roles of project manager, pottery studio business owner, and now manages all things financial with Impact Social.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys being active and spending quality time with her husband and their two kids, Talia and Milo. She is part of the Atlanta Moms Making a Difference community and encourages other moms to get out and volunteer with their kids!

The best part of Impact Social is the people behind the brand. She’s excited to be part of a team of hard working individuals whose goal is to help business owners and make an impact in the digital marketing world.

CARLA SPRAGUE

Carla Sprague got her start in the marketing world as an intern at an agency out of college. She quickly developed a real passion for social media and joined the Impact Social Media team with 5 years of experience. She loves being able to work closely with our clients to grow their business and reach goals through social media and email marketing. Carla enjoys being a part of an industry that is continually growing and evolving and is enthusiastic about being able to learn something new every day. She is quite thankful to work with such an awesome Impact Social Media team.

Carla received her degree in Media Management and Economics from the University of Miami and is a recent graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course! In her free time, Carla enjoys traveling, spending time with Luke the Puppy, and is passionate about Miami Hurricane athletics.

Creativity has always been at the forefront of Jenn’s experience. Starting as a hair stylist, working Fashion Week in LA, and running Visual/Marketing Lead with Microsoft have all given her a strong design background. In addition to these past design positions, she runs an Etsy shop and counts photography as a favorite creative hobby. While she didn’t originally set out to become a graphic designer, it was the next logical step to take, and she’s happy that her experiences have led her here.

Jenn truly enjoys designing logos, writing blogs, and completing website and digital marketing design projects, which shows in her work. She loves a challenge and sees it as a way to learn more and perfect her craft.

Jenn is also a single mama to a rad little boy. She prides herself on making sure to show him that anything is possible through perseverance. In her spare time, she enjoys reading a good book and being crafty with tangible designs for her Etsy shop. Above all else, she loves spending her time homeschooling and enjoying time outdoors with her son.

COURTNEY BOYER

DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGIST

Courtney has had experience in many different types of industries. First, working for a newspaper as an editor and columnist, then as a social media manager for many startups, and even had a stint in the corporate world of telecommunications—through it all, she always found herself feeling more connected to the creative work. She now freelances full-time as a social media manager and copywriter with a passion for helping her clients!

She earned her degree in Communication and Media Studies, with a minor in both Sociology and Public Relations, at the University of Illinois. She now lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with her fiancé and dog and enjoys going to the beach, boating, and hanging out with family and friends.

Halina joined the Impact Social team in 2022. Her previous work experience includes event planning, medical real estate development, and teaching preschool students their ABCs. Throughout her diverse career, her passion for problem-solving, customer relations, and organization have always lied at the center, making project management a logical next step in her journey!

She earned her degree in Economics from Auburn University, where she was on the swimming and diving team—specializing in the 10-meter platform. Halina lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with her two children, husband, and beloved Goldendoodle, Birdie. When she is not cheering on her kids in lacrosse, baseball, and dance, she loves beachcombing, great dinners with friends, and reading!
