Jessica Perlman, CFO

Jessica has been with the Impact Social team since it’s start in 2009.  Corey and Jessica met on an internship in college with General Motors and the rest is history.  Jessica graduated from University of Evansville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and minor in Business Administration.  She has worked in the roles of project manager, pottery studio business owner and now manages all things financial with Impact Social Media.

During her free time Jessica enjoys being active and spending quality time with her husband Corey and their two kids Talia and Milo.  She is part of the Atlanta Moms Making a Difference community and encourages other moms to get out and volunteer with their kids! The best part of Impact Social is the people behind the brand.  She’s excited to be part of a team of hard working individuals whose goal is to help out business owners and make an impact in the digital marketing world.

Carla Sprague, Digital Marketing Strategist

Carla Sprague join the Impact Social team in 2014. She loves being able to work closely with our clients to grow their business and reach goals through social media and email marketing. Carla enjoys being a part of an industry that is continually growing and evolving, and is enthusiastic about being able to learn something new everyday. She is quite thankful to work with such an awesome Impact Social team.

Carla received her degree in Media Management and Economics from the University of Miami.

In her free time, Carla enjoys traveling, spending time with Luke the Puppy, and is passionate about Miami Hurricane athletics.

Jenn Nagy

Jenn Nagy, Digital Marketing Strategist

Creativity has always been at the forefront of Jenn’s experience. Starting as a hair stylist, working Fashion Week in LA, and running Visual/Marketing Lead with Microsoft have all given her a strong design background.

In addition to these past design positions, she runs an Etsy shop and counts photography as a favorite creative hobby.  While she didn’t originally set out to become a graphic designer, it was the next logical step to take, and she’s happy that her experiences have led her here.

Jenn truly enjoys designing logos, writing blogs, and completing website and digital marketing design projects, which shows in her work.  She loves a challenge, and sees it as a way to learn more and perfect her craft. Jenn is also a single mama to a rad little boy.  She prides herself on making sure to show him that anything is possible through perseverance.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading a good book and being crafty with tangible designs for her Etsy shop.

Above all else, she loves spending her time homeschooling and enjoying time outdoors with her son.

Mariela Tobar, Digital Marketing Strategist

Mariela Tobar joined the Impact Social Media team in 2021 and brings over 8 years of social media and digital marketing experience. She’s worked in several different industries, from fitness to pets to children’s toys and a few in-between! She has enjoyed learning the ins and outs of each of these businesses and has grown because of it. Mariela loves helping business owners align their brand vision and mission with their digital marketing efforts so that they can hit their goals and scale accordingly.

Mariela has a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Boston University and as a Floridian is thankful for her four years in the city. She loves everything about Boston, except for the weather!

Mariela loves working out, going to the beach, reading a good book and is forever chasing sunsets.

Courtney Boyer, Digital Marketing Strategist

Courtney has a had experience in many different types of industries, first working for a newspaper as an editor and columnist, then as a social media manager for many startups, and even had a stint in the corporate world of telecommunications.  Through it all, she always found herself feeling more connected to the creative work. She now freelances full-time as a social media manager and copywriter, and has a passion for helping her clients!

She earned her degree in Communication and Media Studies, with a minor in both Sociology and Public Relations, at the University of Illinois. She now lives in Charleston, South Carolina with her fiancé and dog and enjoys going to the beach, boating, and hanging out with family and friends.

Desi Lazzara, Digital Marketing Strategist

Desi Lazzara joined the Impact Social Media team in the beginning of 2022. After obtaining an undergraduate degree in biology, she furthered her education and became a chiropractor in 2010.  While that career was fulfilling for the first few years of her work, she realized upon the birth of her first child that she wanted to stay home and devote her time raising her kids.  Three kids and 10 years later, she decided to enter back into the workforce, but not as a practicing chiropractor.

After gaining administrative experience working for a data analytics company, Desi decided to expand her knowledge in the world of social media.  Having the opportunity to work from home has allowed her to learn and sharpen new skills and has given her the ability to fulfill her desire to work while also being present often with her kids.

When she’s not doing work for Impact Social or spending time with her kids, her and her husband Evan enjoy attending concerts, date nights out, and getting together with friends.  She starts every day with a workout and looks forward to what each day has in store.  Desi has enjoyed being a part of the Impact Social team and looks forward to continued growth and opportunities.
