Facebook’s Newsroom recently announced that they would be making some changes to the platform specifically for creators, in the form of new tools and experiences.
The biggest change will be for video, so the changes made will be within Live With, Facebook Stories, and Watch Party.
New tools will feature polling for Live Videos, video gamification, and on-demand video, which allows users to interact more with their audience.
The “Watch” feature used to be all about shows, but they will now also feature videos from Pages as well. This also allows creators the potential to be featured in Watch and have their videos seen by a larger audience.
Facebook did a test that showed creators’ top fans with a badge next to their name, “enabling creators to easily identify and interact with their most loyal fans.” The feature was such a success that it’s becoming available to more users.
I recently had the honor to Keynote the 2018 National Association of Real Estate Property Managers (NARPM) in Vegas. The topic was Social Selling: A step by step process in turning prospects into customers and customers into your digital salesforce.

Many successful businesses are doing the majority of their business development via social. Like with all sales strategies, there are clear right ways and wrong ways to doing it. Click the play button below to view it – hope you enjoy!
If you’re interested in working on social media strategy with my team, we are doing a 1-day eBoot Camp in Michigan on Friday, July 27th. You’ll take time to work ON your business – specifically on your social media sites, website and other digital assets.
